Almost 2 years ago I became a Mom. I had no idea what this would mean for my life. All I knew before Mom Life was Shape It Up, Hustle, Sweat, Party, Repeat! I did what I wanted, whenever I wanted. It was seriously the life, or so I thought. Then April 24th 2018 came and everything changed. Another human popped out my crotch hours after I was cancelling clients, rearranging schedules and frantically putting “plan b” into motion. I became a Mom in what seemed like a hot second while never losing any momentum as a boss. I don’t think I skipped a beat, as I jumped right into the role of MOM BOSS. As a business owner, a maternity leave didn’t exist. I was updating social media, answering emails, troubleshooting problems, and more right from the hospital. The new baby was beautiful, breastfeeding 24/7, needing constant TLC and Mama Megan was doing it all! Thanks to a solid support system, I was able to manage both roles with ease. We’ve been going strong ever since!
What I’ve learned about Mom Boss Life is how fucking amazing it is! The rewards are endless! Of course it comes with plenty of challenges, long days (and nights), a full schedule, a 24/7 to-do list, some tears and sacrifices but it honestly rocks! I get to experience all the joys of motherhood, and all the ups and downs of running a business. Or all the joys of running a business and all the ups and downs of motherhood (however you want to look at it!). I feel extremely lucky and satisfied to do both roles. No day is the same, I’m always a little stressed, but a positive attitude, daily fitness and plenty of self-care do a Mom well! I can’t wait to help others!
This past summer, I decided to make a list of all my favorite things about Boss Life; after doing this I wanted to make a company around these things! One of my favorite things ever is to talk about things I love. When I genuinely love something, I seem to naturally be able to sell it! I’ve been selling things forever! One of my first jobs was working at a gas station, up -selling at a gas station was definitely not required, but it was something I enjoyed. I made a game out of it, watching people buy all sorts of shit I suggested was a hoot. As my life continued past the teenage gas station years, I kept selling things from omelets, to six packs of beer and onto group fitness memberships – all while helping plenty of others through cross marketing, referrals, promotions and more! I seriously love it!

The mission of Mom Boss Inc. is to encourage and support moms to be ambitious, fierce, driven and outspoken while filling them up with positive vibes and love to help them thrive. Mom Boss Inc. is here to cheer on others while supporting them. Mom Life is no joke; sometimes a Mom or Boss needs a reminder to push on! We are that company!
